Headshots at Open Studios

4 hours of sleep. That’s the number of hours we slept the night before Inscape Arts’ Summer Open Studios. Mukul and I were out till 3:30 in the morning on Saturday a couple weeks ago, setting up our studio and woke up just several hours later that same morning in preparation for Open Studios. Who knew Mukul and I could have so much energy talking to so many people and at the same time shooting 6 hours straight, and with only 4 hours of sleep! We offered headshots that day and got to make some nice portraits. I set up a cloth backdrop, used a beauty dish on camera left as the key light, a reflector with grid in the back, camera right, some flags to block light, and a softbox located in the back, camera left, to light the background.
